Day 1: Arrive into Leh
Colour outside the lines on this unforgettable adventure, which kicks off even prior to your arrival into Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. Get mesmerized by the scenic view from the aircraft, as peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and Nun Kun Massif can be seen, so close you could almost touch them.
Upon arrival, you will meet our warm and friendly representative followed by a transfer to the Hotel for Check in. The rest of the day is spent at leisure and to acclimatize.

Day 2: Leh to Sham Valley
After breakfast, commence on a 2 hr drive through a picturesque landscape to Sham Valley. Enroute, visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib, nestled deep in the Himalayas. Itwas built in 1517 by the Lamas of Leh, to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev. After this, commence on a further drive of 4km to Likir and Alchi Monasteries. Likir derives its name from Lukhgil (coiled snake ). The site appears to be encircled
by two great serpant spirits- Nanda and Taksako. As you drive up to the Monastery, the impressive view of the Maitreya Buddha will leave you in complete awe. We then head towards Alchi. The cluster of temples in this village date back to the 11 th century and are the most celebrated of Ladakh’s monasteries. After lunch at Alchi, enjoy the drive back into Leh, stopping over at the Hall of Fame
Museum and Shanti Stupa. The Hall of Fame is a museum, located on the Leh- Kargil Road. It was constructed by the Indian Army, in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who lost their lives in the Indo-Pak wars, to ensure the safety and security of the country. Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Peace Pagoda, lies on a hilltop in Chanspa. This stupa is a popular tourist attraction not only due to its religious significance, but also because the panoramic view of the surrounding landscape is breathtaking.

Day 3: EXCURSION TO KHARDUNG LA
After breakfast, get ready for yet another scenic 3 hr drive back to Leh via Khardung La Pass. Be assured to be blown away by this mersmerizing road journey through Khardung La, a mountain pass in the Ladakh region. It is the world’s highest motorable road, with an elevation of 5,602m (18,379ft). Enjoy the spectacular view south over the Indus Valley, to seemingly endless peaks and ridges of the Zanskar
range as well as the view to the north, which includes the Saser Kangri Massif mountain range. From here, it is a downhill drive all the way to Leh. On arrival into Leh, visit the Leh Palace and Leh Market. Leh Palace is a former royal palace overlooking the Ladakhi Himalayan town of Leh. This nine-storeyed, dun-coloured palace is Leh's dominant structure and an architectural icon. Enjoy taking panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding areas from the roof-top of the palace.
Day 4: Leh – Pangong Tso/Lake
This morning, enjoy an early breakfast, before embarking on a 4-5 hour drive to Pangong Lake via the Chang La Pass.This is probably one of the most beautiful drives you will ever experience. Pangong Lake, situated at 4,267m (14,000 feet), is 134 km long and extends from India to China. It is approximately 160 km from Leh and passes through Chang La Pass, the world’s third highest motorable pass. On arrival at the lake, proceed for check in at your camp. The rest of the day is spent at leisure and to explore the scenic area surrounding the Lake.It is a great place for picture taking. Capture the surreality of the place, including the striking turquoise blue colour of the lake on a background of endless
mountain ranges.

Day 5: Pangong-Leh
After an early breakfast, commence on a drive back to Leh. Enroute, visit Thiskey Gompa and Shey Palace. The twelve storied monastery of Thiksey is located at an altitude of 3,600m, on top of a hill in Thiksey Village, approximately 19km east of Leh. Tread in the footsteps of the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism and admire many items of Buddhist art, such as statues, stupas, wall paintings and swords. Next, drive onward to Shey Palace, the ancient capital of Ladakh. This monastery is noted for its
iconic, giant copper gilded gold statue of a seated Shakyamuni Buddha.

Day 6: Depart Leh
